July 2006

All is well in Oviedo, FL! Hana and I both started our new ventures this week. She's not teaching yet, but was at work all week preparing for the school year, which begins on Monday. They get 'em going pretty early down here. As for me, I am now finished with one of three weeks of Biblical Greek. The summer course is much quicker and much more intense than the regular semester length course, so I have been extremely busy. We've met some really wonderful people down here. There is a woman who lives in our apartment complex that teaches where Hana does, so they ride to work together every day. Her husband is also an RTS student. What a blessing! I've been carpooling with some of the guys that live near by. It is amazing how our Father provides for His children. It seems the more we trust, the more He provides. Recently I was reading 1 Samuel, and I noticed that when the people of Israel submitted to their king, they won their battles. When they didn't, they didn't. Have you submitted to your King? In other words, have you submitted to your God? As long as we think our ways are better for us than God's ways, He'll show us that we're wrong. And He deserves praise because of it. God bless.

July 2006 (first post!)

Our move from Minnesota was very successful! Everything made it to sunny FL safe and sound. Two days after we arrived, Hana received an offer to teach 7th grade geography at Greenwood Lakes Middle-School! She accepted, and starts there on the 24th. Also on the 24th, I begin Greek 1. It will be my first Seminary class and it will run through August. In the fall I will have a full load of classes. We love our apartment and hope everyone is planning a trip to see us down here! We have a guest bedroom (ok, well it's a den with a bed in it), so come on down! That's all for now. God bless.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph 3:20-21)
